Thank you for your interest in the Israel Institute's Teaching Fellow Program.

If you have previously applied to an Israel Institute program, you may begin your application. If you have never applied to one of our programs before, please start by clicking on the green button in the upper-right corner of your screen that says, "Register."

Once you have registered, you may begin your application.

About the Application

Once you start your application,  you may leave and come back at any time to complete or update your information. However, once you submit the application, you will be unable to edit your responses.

Within the application, you will be asked for the following:

  • A high-resolution headshot (300 ppi);
  • An academic curriculum vitae (C.V.);
  • A syllabus for a course you have taught about Israel (if you have taught one before); and
  • A statement on your teaching experience. This should be a single document with three distinct sections:
    • In the first section, list the courses you have taught about modern Israel, along with a one-paragraph course description for each. Indicate the number of times you have taught the course(s), where you taught it/them, the level(s), and number of students enrolled.
    • In the second section, list any additional courses you could potentially teach about modern Israel, along with a one-paragraph course description for each.
    • In the third section, list the non-Israel-related courses you have taught along with a one-paragraph course description for each. Clearly identify the number of times you have taught the course(s), where you taught it/them, the level(s), and number of students enrolled.
